I currently teach chemistry at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, IA, and became interested in returning to graduate school when Dr. Mason visited to talk to my students about research opportunities. Since I teach, I am a part-time student, and my interests lie in using computational methods in my introductory and general chemistry classes to enhance learning. Outside of teaching and school, I like to spend my free time with my spouse, dogs, and in my garden.
