B. A. Chemistry 2015, Illinois Wesleyan University
Joined group in 2015, co-advised by Prof. Tori Z. Forbes
I’m from the Chicago suburbs, making the drive to Iowa City (Chicago’s furthest suburb) to attend the University of Iowa. I am currently working on a collaborative project with Dr. Forbes’ group to create Keggin-type metal hydroxide particles and study their reactivity. I’m interested in combining computational and synthetic methods to analyze materials, putting together all of my interests in physical, inorganic, computational, and environmental chemistry. Outside of chemistry, my interests include traveling, snowboarding, eating strange foods, and listening to odd music.
